Barbara Birman
Barbara has been involved in education most of her life. She has taught preschool for Everett Community College, worked with Snohomish County Head Start and was a teacher-librarian with the Everett School District for 26 years before retiring in 2002.
She became involved with the theatre before retiring and helped with mailings, did some data input, and ushered. After retirement she found a bit more time and became enamored with our lovely facility, the community oriented goals, and the people who were involved in all aspects of The Historic Everett Theatre. In 2003 she joined the Board of Directors and it has been a continuing education for her in the joys and dilemmas of a not-for-profit organization.
In addition to the theatre she travels frequently, and is a member of the Foster Care Citizenís Review Board, and volunteer for the American Red Cross.
